What It Tells You
A zone is a polygon inside a field boundary that you treat differently from the rest: a wet corner, a sandy headland, a strip under an SFI action. Zones let you record an application, a rate or an action against the part of the field it went on. A variable-rate plan and a scheme claim both need that. The NDVI capture shows where the canopy differs. That is the usual reason to draw one.How It Works
