What It Tells You
Today is the app’s front page. It lists the decisions the farm faces this week as one ranked list: a closed period that starts on a field, a spray or drilling window that is open, a siting rule a store fails, a reading that crossed a threshold. Each decision is a sentence with the field, the date and the rule behind it, and a tick. The order is fixed. What the law asks for comes first, then what closes soonest. A closed period for slurry outranks a spray window because missing one is an offence and missing the other is a lost afternoon.How It Works
The list is built every time Today opens, from the key dates, the decision windows, the siting checks and the alerts. The same rule on several fields is one decision with the fields as chips, so three spray windows read as one line. A tick marks the decision done for the week; it comes back if the rule fires again.
Under the list sits the inspection-ready meter, the same checklist the Compliance tab and the pack’s cover carry, and three tiles: the weather for the largest field, the sensors reporting, and the nearest outbreak. The farm’s fields sit at the top of the page, in their crop colours on the satellite ground; a tap opens the Map.
Every decision folds its source behind an information mark: the regulation for a key date, the model and its inputs for a window, the device and the reading for a trigger.
