What You Need
- An Ecowitt gateway or console with a Customized upload: GW1000, GW1100, GW2000, the WS2910 and WS3800 consoles, and the Froggit and Ambient Weather stations built on the same gateway.
- A farm on a plan that allows a sensor. A station counts as one.
Connect It
1
Add the station in the app
Sensors → Connect a station. Name it, and pick the field its channel 1 soil probe sits in. Leave the field empty for a station with no soil probe. The app shows four lines.
The path is the station’s credential. It is shown once. The station’s page can issue a new one, and the old one stops working the moment it does.
2
Type them into the gateway
In the WS View Plus app, or the gateway’s own web page: the gateway → Weather Services → Customized → Enable, protocol Ecowitt, then the server, path and port above. An upload interval of one to five minutes is fine.
3
Wait one interval
The first upload lands within an interval. Until then the station shows as silent on the Sensors tab, with what to check.
What Is Fed
Units are converted on the way in. Not fed: soil probes on channels 2 to 8, solar radiation and UV, lightning and battery levels. Put the probe that matters on channel 1.
Every reading carries the station as its source. A field with both a station and an AgriHub360 Sensor names both under its chart.
Test Without a Gateway
curl reads it.
