# Add a Photo to a Record

> A picture of the label or the load makes the record stronger evidence, and the row says how strong.

  <Step title="On the sheet, Add a photo">
    Every kind on the + sheet has **Add a photo** above Save. It opens the camera; the label, the bag or the heap is enough.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Tap **Save record**. The photo goes with it. If the record saves and the photo does not, the row says so and you can add it again from the record.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the mark on the row">
    On the Records tab each row carries its grade. **Evidence: in the field** means it was written within the day, on the field, with a photo or a reading. **Typed later** means it was not.

## What You See Next

The pack cover counts them, for example "Records as evidence, 12 of 15". Nothing is refused. A record typed on Sunday night is still a record; its mark just says when it was written.

## If It Does Not

| You see                                         | It means                                             | Do                                         |
| ----------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| The camera does not open                        | Camera access is off for the app                     | Allow it in the phone's settings           |
| The mark says Typed later though you were there | Location was off, so the phone's point was not saved | Allow location; the next record carries it |
| The photo did not go on                         | No signal when it saved                              | Open the record and add it again           |
