# Team and Roles

> Owner down to read-only guest, invitations, multi-farm switching.

## What It Tells You

A **role** is what a person on the farm can do. Each person gets no more access than the job needs. A person who works on more than one farm switches between them in the app.

| Role                | Can                                                  |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner**           | Everything                                           |
| **Manager**         | Claim devices, issue device keys and create webhooks |
| **Read-only guest** | See the fields and the records without changing them |

## How It Works

Invite a person by email and give them a role on the farm. The Manager role or higher is needed to issue a device key or create a webhook.
