# Two-factor Sign-in

> TOTP on any account.

## What It Tells You

**Two-factor sign-in** asks for a six-digit code from an authenticator app as well as your password. The farm record holds the applications log, the compliance pack and the device keys. A leaked password on its own is not enough to reach them. Any account can turn it on. An owner can ask every person on the farm to turn it on.

## How It Works

Scan the QR code from your account settings with an authenticator app that supports **TOTP**, time-based one-time passwords. Enter the code it shows at each sign-in.
