# Map First, Account Later

> A farm is drawn and the week is shown before anyone is asked for an email address.

How to: [Choose a Plan](/how-do-i/more/choose-a-plan).

## What It Tells You

The app opens on a map around the phone. You draw a field, or upload the RPA file, and the app shows the field's profile and the week's decisions for it. There is no sign-up form first. The farm is a **guest farm** until you choose to keep it.

## How It Works

The front door opens on the map around the phone and asks two things: the farm's name and its nation, because the nation sets the rules. Then it is the map. A guest farm has the same five tabs as any farm: Today, Map, Records, Compliance and More. Records can be written, the compliance checklist runs, the pack can be previewed. An unkept farm is removed after 30 days.

**Keep it** turns the guest farm into an account. It shows what was made, the fields, the hectares, what is on Today, and asks for a name, an email address and a password; a confirmation goes to the address. The farm, its fields and its records stay as they are. Until then a banner on every screen says the farm lives on this phone and offers to keep it. A guest who signs out walks away from the farm.

An account can leave a farm it does not own, and delete a farm it does. The last owner cannot leave without handing the farm to another owner or deleting it.

The sign-in for an existing account is email first, then the password, then the six-digit code where two-factor is on. An invitation to a farm names the role it carries before the account is made.
